[TOMT] Slapstick, possibly comedy troupe episode from 1980s

80s Slapstick? I tried posting this in another sub months ago, with no luck on answers. I figured I would try again.

I saw this as a kid in the late 80s, probably on USA or HBO. It was basically a goof on 80s teen horror movies. There was nobody famous in it, at least at the time. It was a bunch of teens camping in the woods, and mostly set in the daytime. Super low budget.

They were getting followed by a Jason Voorhies ripoff, hockey mask and all, but the mask had a hockey puck stuck into it around the mouth area. Every time “Jason” tried to attack someone, something ridiculous would happen, like he would fall off a cliff, trip, or get randomly stabbed. None of the teenagers even realized he was there.

The film “look” or appearance was in the same style as soap operas or the news, if that makes sense.
