A photo of my car was posted earlier this weekend. The post asked if anyone knew the driver of the vehicle. The car is 100% mine I could see the exact clothes I was wearing. Someone I knew alerted me to the post. I didn’t commit a crime nor did I witness a crime happening. The only thing out of the ordinary I saw was a motorcycle blasting through a red light. I also remember seeing homeless guy obviously drunk.
I’m afraid the police will identify me and arrest me for no reason. What should I do?

Do not contact the poster or the police yourself.
If you are contacted by the poster, or about the post, or by the police, or by someone claiming to be the police, tell them you will not answer any questions without the advice of your attorney.
In my opinion it sounds more like you are suspected of a crime than you are believed to be an innocent witness. And that means that the only person who should talk to police, or the poster, is a criminal defense attorney working for you.
I mean I’d call the courts to see if you have an active warrant and a lawyer to establish who you could call if you are taken in by the police. Otherwise do nothing. Even though you saw the post, you are not required to call them or go in to talk to them, if the criminal investigation they are doing is serious enough they’ll find you.
