I’m 17, live in Texas, and recently got charged with a Class C misdemeanor for theft. I already took a 4-hour theft class and have a lawyer. I’m a green card holder and worried about how this might affect my record, future, or citizenship. Has anyone had a similar experience with juvenile court or virtual court in Denton County?
Edit: I’m also a first-time offender and I’ve already completed a 4-hour theft class, which I submitted to my lawyer.

You really can only rely on your lawyer. Obviously a really, really bad time to play with theft and crimes of moral turpitude when you have a vulnerable immigration status.
