Positive self talk. Seriously, be kind to yourself. Be patient, forgiving, and respectful towards yourself. I cannot emphasize enough in the importance of treating yourself like a human being, just like how you would treat others. True confidence comes from within.
Daily jogs or walks are my go-to for physical confidence, while I also love diving into creative projects like writing or trying new recipes, which help me explore my passions.
Literally just smelling good boosts my confidence. Give myself a everything shower, put on my favourite perfume/deodorant and some leave in conditioner to boost the smell of my hair. Seems to work 9/10
Lip stick. I swear to goodness I could have my hair not done and no other makeup on. As long as I’ve got lipstick I feel like I’ve got armor on against the world. Probably weird but true for me.
I curl my eyelashes everyday. Even on the days I don’t wear makeup, I make a point to do a quick 5-seconds hold with my curler on each eye after putting in my contacts. For me, it’s minimal effort that has a big effect.
I have an alarm set for 11:11 and 23:11 with a little cosmic sound that reminds me of stars and I make a wish each time. It’s really helping me to “choose me” each day. The wishes are usually curated to what I need in that moment. I’m going through a break up, so it’s a lot of “I wish for a peaceful night” or “I wish to one day find a love that is safe” and sometimes it’s “I wish for Liverpool to win the premier league again this season”
All of it focuses on me, and keeping myself grounded helps me feel confidently myself. It helps me feel like I deserve wishes to come true.
