So many people in my life didn’t see it as “real cheating” because it wasn’t physical. It definitely is though, and any partner who does this and then tries to say it isn’t cheating is trying to gaslight you!

If someone hides something from their partner because they know their partner might leave them over it, they are removing their partner’s ability to give informed consent to being with them. I don’t really care if it’s cheating or not – the deception and lack of care for consent is the issue
But yes, I also consider cybersex cheating unless it was explicitly agreed that it’s ok
