SA under anesthesia

r/

January 2009, for 2.5 hours, I woke up from my wisdom teeth removal with 7 concerned looking men and 1 woman standing over me, including my surgeon who was smiling when he said, “i wasn’t sure you were gonna wake up.” The other people turned their backs when I woke. First thing I noticed was my zipper was down. I said out loud “why is my zipper down, I never used the zipper on these pants.” People looked at each other. Immediately telling me to rise to my feet, I almost fell because my right shoe wasn’t on all the way. I was also outrageously disoriented. They guide me out of the operating room to a different one where they explained post op, or tried to. My doctor had a huge grin the whole time. I could barely stay awake during the drive with my mom. They told her she had to wait in the lobby for the operation. I went to sleep for almost 24 hrs went I got home and was still disoriented when waking. When I went to the bathroom, I notice my lady parts were messy as if I had been active and my front hip area was sore. When I had left the receptionist tried to whisper to me to call the police but I didn’t, stupidly.

I know I should have, now that these repressed memories have surface, I have truly accepted I was sa, but I didn’t when I was 19. I didn’t think it could happen to me. All this time later, what should I do? Im already in therapy, but should I make a statement to the police? Im not even sure what my doctors name was. Just date and location.
