    1. It extends and makes permanent the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. That prevents a $4 Trillion tax increase that affects all American taxpayers.

    2. It reinstates the immediate expensing for corporate capital expenditures which will be good for economic growth and good for wages and job seekers.

    3. It includes immediate expensing for factory and equipment investing that will help manufacturing relocate to the US. That helps economic growth and job seekers

    4. It plusses up the ICE budget so they can continue to deport illegal criminals. That improves the safety of all citizens

    5. It adds a tax cut for OT and tip earners which will be an additional cut for those lower wage earners.

    6. It actually CUTS spending for the first time in 40 years by reinstating work requirements for Medicaid and SNAP

People are always asking how someone could vote against their own interests. There is nothing in this bill that negatively affects me and the tax implications help me. Therefore I support it.

I support parts of it. I like that my taxes will go down. I like some of the investment-focused tax provisions. But they should have found more cuts. I’d start with defense.

I support what Trump does because I like him and I voted for him and I will re-evaluate my opinion on who to vote for in 2008, most likely Vance. I don’t believe in trying to micro manage who I voted for. This is a republic, not a direct democracy. So I’m not going to react everytime someone cries about what Trump is doing. In fact I hope he comes out in favor of some amnesty and marijuana legalization just so the democrats can all of the sudden oppose those things. But keep trying to find cracks if that makes you happy.

Typical Republican tax cuts for all, benefitting the rich more. I trust ‘trickle down’ more than Democrat ‘tax-and-spend’, but DEF don’t like projected $3T anticipated deficit. We’ll see if tax reductions, tariffs and related job creation will stimulate enough growth to offset reduced gov tax revenues.

I’m very much a right libertarian but I truly think this bull was a giant dumpster fire with a few good parts. I like that there is now work requirements for medicaid and food stamps, I like that the 2017 tax cuts are permanent and I like how overtime will not be taxed. I do not like the extra military spending, I do not like how it’s going to add 5T to the deficit, I agree with rand Paul on how we can’t afford to be just blowing out the spending as we are already 37T in debt and spending like this only hurts the middle class as inflation is essentially a pay cut.
