I(35M) inherited everything my SA(68F) left behind.

Back when I was 16 I was working for a landscaping company, we had our usual regulars that we would visit about once a week or more depending on what their needs were. Well there was an older lady on my route I used to do and she was always extremely nice to me, bringing out cold waters or snacks or bringing hand warmers during winter. She was an extremely well off woman and sometimes would call and ask me to go over to fix things/help around the house for some side money. We developed a mutual platonic friendship and everything was fine, up until it wasn’t.

One day I get a call around 4pm saying she ordered some furniture that needed assembling and was offering $100 cash since she needed it built that day and I happily obliged. I head over and start assembling everything, about 30 minutes in she brings over some snacks and lemonade and sits near by while I do my job just talking with me. That’s the last thing I remembered up until waking up to her performing oral on me, groggy and not being able to move she noticed I was awake, told me we got drunk together and I wanted this. She proceeded to get on top and inserted me into her, continued until I ejaculated inside of her. She then grabbed a tiny jar and pushed the semen into the jar and told me I were to continue coming daily and having intercourse with her or she would use the semen to stage a rape, as a white woman in predominantly white area a Hispanic like myself would surely go to jail (in her words). I was young and believed her so I complied. Every day after school there was a routine, after school head to her house, she watches me shower, she performs oral while I watch tv and then intercourse. She would buy me anything I asked for, even giving me cash on top of the pay for working for her. Each time I would ejaculate she would preserve it no matter where the semen was(in her or on her) I understand that some boys would be overjoyed at the opportunity to have sex every single day but to me it wasn’t as pleasant. I was saving myself for my first relationship that lead to sex and she took that from me, I felt like I was just being used and hated myself for allowing it to continue, but it did for years up until I was 18 and moved away to college.

Fast forward to earlier this week when I get a call from a lawyer. Asks me my name and other personal information and asks me to head to his office for something urgent. I get there and he tells me the news, she has passed away and in her will she left everything to me. Her 5 bedroom home, 6 cars, and $32.5m. I was in utter shock, I haven’t seen or spoken to this woman since I was 18 and for some reason she left me everything. Included with all of that was an envelope I was to open in the home after I accepted everything. The lawyer has given me a few days to make a decision so here I am on my final day where a decision needs to be made and I don’t know what to do…

This is life changing money and a home that’s fully paid off in a nice neighborhood with everything I could ever ask for but I’m not sure I can accept it.

I need advice please….

Why not man? From the sounds of it you definitely worked for it. She raped you, I guess this is her way of saying sorry.

You were probably the only person who ever visited her.

Sell everything. You would have no ties or reminders. Catch up on all your bills, Once your life has changed for the better, you won’t even remember where the cash came from. You would just be happy to be building a comfortable life for your family. You’ve paid your dues. Now it’s time to collect.

Take the money and the home – you’d be crazy not to

What advice are you even looking for? Nothing can change the past. Moving forward, are there any downsides to taking the money?

Firstly, I’m sorry about what happened to you, money doesn’t erase that.

I’d tread carefully with this, make sure the lawyer is legit.

Also, if there’s no one else to accept the money, I’d take it, definitely give some to charity, but it’s yours!
