hey, it’s basically as the title says
i haven’t been doing great recently, and i’m genuinely considering getting professional help this time. one thing that might happen, although might not be as big of a possibility as i think it is, is that i’ll be sent to the psych ward.
i myself am related to my mom, my little brother however is from foster care. he’s been with us for 10 years (he’s 11 now).
i’m scared that if i get placed in a mental institution or anything of the sorts, they’ll deem our household unfit for my little brother and he’ll get taken away.
idk if it’s important but he has almost been removed from our household once before, because of a “family friend” of ours straight up lying to our version of child protective service or whatever i’m not sure about it’s equivalent, its called jeugdzorg.
is this a possibility? can he really be moved to a different family if i do get sent to a psych ward?
