Head hurting and constant anxiety attacks, what do I do here?

r/

For the past week I’ve been having random anxiety attacks, it doesn’t matter if I’m out in public or in the comfort of my home. I’ll suddenly feel my hands shake and my heart beat so fast and hard that I struggle to breathe and function at times. I don’t know what to do here. I’ve had headaches about this and I feel like I have so much brain fog now.

Please offer any tips to help me overcome these. I can’t afford anxiety pills since I’m a broke college student. This has affected even my studies so I genuinely need help with this.

If you are a college student, do you have a health clinic on campus? They often have reduced rates. You can also try things like meditation to lower your overall anxiety. Look on YouTube for some guided meditations. See if you find something you like, then do it a couple times a day.

Damn, dude, sounds rough. Anxiety’s a bitch, ain’t it? No pill magic, but here’s my 2 cents: gotta practice mindfulness, like legit. Yoga, deep breaths, chill music, the works. Find a quiet spot, focus on the ‘now’. Start small, like 5 mins a day, n gradually build it up. And remember, it’s okay to ask for help. Reach out to ur campus counselling, mate. Hang in there, this too shall pass. Hmu if u need to talk, yeah? And remember, it’s a marathon, not a sprint. 👊👊

Dude, been there, sucked big time. Look, try regular exercise and cut back on the caffeine. Meditation might sound lame but does wonders for the mind, srsly. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, there’s free resources online. Stay strong bro, it’s rough but u got this! Remember, it’s okay to ask for help, even if it’s just venting to a buddy. TGIF amirite? Hang in there, champ.

Have you been drinking enough water? This used to be my issue without realizing. Being slightly or severely dehydrated increased my panic attacks

I know how you feel, I also go through something similar. College can be a burden and leave you screwed. The best thing is to give yourself moments for yourself; doing something you like or being with your family or close friends. If you are alone when you have an attack, call someone. If that’s not your thing, you can try breathing techniques, here’s one: inhale only through your nose for three seconds and exhale for 7 seconds, all through your nose. I hope this helps you, and remember that all evil is temporary.
