Hi, so pretty much its impossible to start your life without a credit score, trying to apply to apartments, car loans, anything.
To be able to get credit though you have to pay off a loan or a pay certain bills or whatever but you need credit to get loans.
I have a chime credit builder card, I haven’t used it yet cause im scared of getting into any kind of debt. Maybe yall can help explain how that card works or just give me some pointers to building my credit.
I need to start building credit, i have no credit score yet and im 18

Get a credit card, and buy a few small things a few times a year. Immediately pay it off. That’s the easiest way to build credit without going into debt.
No credit means no freedom. Use that Chime card smartly now or pay the price later.
Yo, been there. Here’s the lowdown: First, don’t fear debt; respect it. Overcoming the fear game is key. Just remember: steady payments and no overspending = credit score ☝️ Chime is aight, charges us no fees or interest, just load up the cash you wanna spend, swipe, and BOOM, you’re building credit. Try and pay off balance like clockwork. Also, look into secured credit cards and small personal loans, solid options to startup. Just always stay in your lane, don’t overspend, and you’ll be Gucci. 💪💳🚀
Credit builder is a good start. A secured line of credit works too.
