Having a small chest already allows me to cheat to get a bigger one 😂 and also to avoid ending up with fried eggs.

If i don’t wear a bra, my nipples poke through my tshirt so theres that too.
I think, in some cases, girls learn that “getting a bra” is kind of a milestone in becoming an adult, so women start to wear them as a symbol (for themselves, rather than anything else) that they’re officially an adult.
The point is so we can suffer.

Although in Europe I have to admit I got catcalled so much as a young woman that I learned to wear thick bras to avoid nipples showing too.
For all the reasons mentioned but also to fill out standard tops and dresses which are usually made for B cups and some also have bust darts so they look more distorted if you’re not wearing a bra.
Even with small boobs, running up the stairs and doing exercise hurts. Not to mention nipple chafing and high beams showing through your shirt
To avoid the nips showing and it’s comfortable to me so i wear them even tho i’m an a cup
