Someone I was dating keeps setting up burner phones to reach me. He has set up about 15 now. It does no good to block him. Has anyone dealt with this?

If you told him to get lost and don’t want to talk to him anymore, and he keeps it up, you might need a restraining order.

    Would changing your number help?

this sounds like a stalker that needs a restraining order

You need to call the cops and get a restraining order on this guy before he escalates things even more tbh, this is not a sane human

Talk to an attorney about a civil suit.

considering you can’t change your number i’d just try to gather as much proof of that behavior as you can and file a restraining order. not to scare you but i’d get a ring camera also in case he’s really crazy and tries to come talk in person.

That’s crazy 15 different phone numbers. If you told him to stop and he keeps doing that, you can get a harassment protection order. Just make sure to keep all the evidence of his attempts to contact you. I’ve had an ex do something similar but he called me 100 times from his house phone. Messaged me from his sister’s Snapchat, and from her boyfriend’s Snapchat. He also got his cousins involved and they were texting me. It was a mess I was young unsure what to do so I ended up unblocking him and I wish I would have got the harassment protection order. I didn’t know I could get one at that time I was only 18 and he was 27.

Could you try being mega gross and disgusting? Like take a picture of a bowel movement and send that to him next time he text you? I know engaging at all is risky but you commented that police aren’t the answer and you can’t change your number so 🤷

You need an EPO as soon as possible and to change your phone number so he is unable to call.

You tell this person to never contact you again and block. Then you have someone record you answering the next time that they call on speaker. You confirm that it’s them. Say something like “I told you to never contact me again.” Hopefully they say something incriminating like “I know, but I just had to talk to you…” Then you take your evidence to your local police department and make a report about being harassed and possibly stalked.
