Like, I had an ex who was 50 when I was 35. But I didn’t know him when he was 16 and I was 1 or when I was 16 and he was 31. We met when I was 30 and he was 45. So like, so what.
Large age difference relationships have their challenges, but I’d imagine quite a few don’t involve either party knowing each other when one was under 18.
I hope you haven’t poked a hornet’s nest. There’s a belief going around tiktok and certain corners of the internet that all age gaps are creepy and/or predatory.
My parents are 12 years apart. Mom is 62, dad is 50. My grandparents were 11 years apart. He was 26 and she was 15 in the 50’s when they wed. When people say that times were different, it really was.

Even then, it’s only creepy if they were together at those ages. Otherwise, who cares?
