I have been living off dry bread this past week because money is tight. I finally had enough money to buy a jar of jam to go with my bread. Got home all excited and while trying to open it, I accidentally dropped it on the kitchen floor and the glass shattered. I stood there for a bit just staring at it while my eyes watered. I contemplated whether it would be worth it to pick the shards out and try to eat it anyway but that would have been stupid so I just threw it out.
