So me and my friends went out for coffee. It’s obvious that I’m with a group of friends and we walk inside and the dude who said what he said to me is standing right there looking at us as we’re walking in. My friends are in the middle of ordering, and I look at my other friend and I’m like I need to use the bathroom so I’m gonna go to the bathroom. The dude walks out from behind the counter and stops me and it’s like the bathroom is for paying customers only. His other coworkers were kind of looking at him confused like what kind of power trip are you on today? I look at him and I’m like “ that’s very bold of you to make that assumption, my friend literally just bought me coffee and you saw us walk in together. but now even if i wanted to get something else, i am not giving you any money now.” and i went to the bathroom.
7 mins later the coffee was ready, and i came out the bathroom when he said we had to leave. so we made the store refund us.

NTA. I can’t help but notice that the employee’s power trip caused the rule he holds so dearly to be broken. At the time you used the bathroom, you were a paying customer. Then, he forced a refund, resulting in the bathroom having been used by a non-paying customer.
Damn, homie woke up and chose violence apparently. Definitely NTA, I wouldn’t go there again and I’d also leave a fact based review explaining what happened so others know.
