I (31M) went to a Jonas brothers concert with my wife and her friends this past weekend. As typical for these women heavy crowds, the women’s room lines were long and the men’s room had no line. About halfway through, most of the women started lining up in the men’s room to use the 8 or so stalls us men had. 3/4ths through the show I had to go #2, so I simply walked past the line of women waiting for the men’s rooms stalls and went right in to the next open one. AITAH?

NTA. Reverse the roles and the expectation would be to let the women use their bathroom and for the men to leave the space completely.

I am really torn, but super mild YTA…
I almost can’t believe that is how I feel but this one of the very few times ever that I get women’s privilege. Its not an advantage 99% of their life. Its a design to keep them safe from predators. So I get why women can use a men’s room but men shouldn’t use a woman’s.
So if I was there, I would just accept it and wait.

YTA, massively so. Yes, other things being equal men have as much right to privacy in single-sex bathrooms as women, but that condition wasn’t met. Those women weren’t invading your space for shits and giggles but because of utterly inept, couldn’t-care-less organization. As you yourself recognize, the only reason for the line was that the numpties who organized the concert were happy to take their money but didn’t think them deserving of potty parity as in, equal wait times. It’s not rocket science – they know exactly the proportion of male to female concertgoers. All they needed to do is temporarily relabel some make facilities as female (as I believe is routinely done at Taylor Swift concerts.)

NTA- I’m a woman who’s used the men’s room on more than one occasion because of long lines. A man does get to jump in front of the women for the men’s room.
