Am I (24f) looking too far into his (28m) texting and communication mannerisms?

Hi everyone, I’m looking for genuine advice here because I am feeling confused and struggling to understand where someone’s head is at, I also struggle with anxiety so please be kind, but don’t be afraid to tell me if I am wrong before I ask to talk about this. For context; we are not “officially” dating yet, but I have spent the night at his house and we call eachother pet names and we’re going to speak this weekend about making things official. We are supposedly not speaking to other people so we are exclusively dating. He has told me I am welcome to his house anytime I want, but then proceeded to tell me I might not be able to come over because he might be working, but then that is contradictory to what he said. He told me last night he wanted some “me time” which I completely respect and said message me when you are ready no problem. So he would message me randomly but then when I would reply he would just leave me on read? But then an hour later text me again something completely random then leave me on read again? Then this morning instead of the usual cute “goodmorning baby” it’s just “goodmorning” and I am just really confused because yesterday morning he was perfectly fine and nothing happened in between and he even sent me a voice note in the afternoon before asking for me time stating he is extremely interested in pursuing me. Am I looking too far into this? Should I ask to talk to him about it? Should I leave it and just see if it resolves itself in a day or two? I am just very very confused and anxious. Thank you!
