Am I doing too much?!?!

So I (24m) and my date (22f) has our first date yesterday where we began making out and I initiated for things to go further to which she corrected and I respected that boundary and we continued kissing. We finished, kissed goodbye and this morning I sent this text: [“Also, and I may be overthinking this but id be remiss if I didn’t say smthg…I apologize if I overstepped any boundaries yesterday, physical or otherwise. I know in the moment we shared I initiated for things to go further and you corrected that and I want you to know that it wasn’t/isn’t my intention to go beyond what you’re comfortable with & I fully respect the decision you made then and any you make concerning your body and any boundaries you set at any point in our interactions”]…was it too much for me to have sent the last text? Would that turn you off? I’ve always believed in the saying “it’s better to say and not need to than to need to and not say” but does that apply here? Advise/support would be appreciated 🙂
