My girlfriend (30F) and I (27M) have a solid relationship. She let me know ahead of time that she had plans with her friends since one of them is moving away for work.
She called me late at night while they were out and sent me pictures of where she was and what they were doing. Our conversation was short because she was still with them, and she mentioned they were going out for a drink.
I told her, “Drive safe, stay safe, don’t do anything too crazy” (meant as a lighthearted joke). She seemed a little dismissive of that comment. I then told her “I love you, good night,” and she said it back, but not very confidently.
I’m wondering if I’m overreacting by reading into her tone, or if this might mean something more.
TL;DR: Girlfriend (30F) went out with friends and called me (27M). When I told her to be safe and then said “I love you,” she responded but sounded a little dismissive and not confident. Am I overthinking this?

Go to bed, you’re overthinking it.
