I (28f) have been with my boyfriend (29m) for 2.5 years now. He acts very sweet when we are together. But he consistently prioritizes playing soccer and spending time with his dog over me. It feels extreme because he plays soccer 5 days a week including every weekend. And I need to ask him months in advance if I want to do something and a lot of times he has a soccer tournament that he wants to sign up for so he says he can’t. I’ve brought it up to him and he says he really wants to prioritize soccer right now because he wants to become a pro. We both have full time careers. On top of the soccer, he spends the alot of his free time with his dog except for one Thursday a week when we go on our “date night” and maybe a weekend every once in a while or a Friday night or something. I tell him my concerns but he is mostly dismissing them, saying there are other reasons we are not hanging out (e.g. we were both sick one week before/after the other so we didn’t meet up). I’m wondering if there is something else I should do or move on
TLDR: relationship, am I the priority, spends more time playing hobby sport than with me
