Hi everyone last night I had a dream that I made caprese pasta salad with little mozzarella balls and cherry tomatoes but made it with angel hair pasta. Now I want to do it but I don’t even know if I like angel hair pasta and don’t want to make it if the textures won’t work lol.
Is making pasta salad with angel hair a real thing or should I let this one go, and if so would caprese angel hair pasta salad even work

Looks like a thing to me.
It works with just about any pasta shape, especially since angel hair is common for mixing into oil sauces
All pasta tastes the same lol
Okay, here’s an idea. Buy all the ingredients but only make a very small amount. In other words, instead of cooking a whole pound of angel hair, try cooking just a couple of ounces. A small amount of that part of your other ingredients and try it. I mean I’m sorry but I got to be honest. I hate regular spaghetti. It’s too thick too. Starchy minimum thin spaghetti to be honest with you as much as I absolutely love alfredo sauce, I don’t like standard fettuccine noodles. They’re too heavy but you can make a tiny version of it with that and see how you like it. Your ass not going to know until you try but my theory has always been pasta is pasta is pasta. Everybody I know makes macaroni and salad with elbow macaronis. I use rotini because I like it better. I’ve even made it with ziti because that was what I had in the house. So is it going to be thinner? Yes, but it may give it a more delicate flavor because you’re going to be able to not have huge hunks of pasta without the other things. You may want to break it up a little smaller when you make it so that it’s easier to eat and get a little bit of everything in each bite
