I love having a reason to get all dressed up in a nice dress, dance and drink the night away and celebrate love with my dearest and closest people. I always wish I had more weddings to attend. It’s more fun than going to the club but you still have a blast dancing and cheering on love

Maybe not every month but I like them. I also went alone as a single person and always had a blast. The couple would sit me at the inclusive table or at a table with people my own age, and it’s super fun!

I love weddings! But I also work from home and rarely put on a nice outfit, and live interstate from most of my family and friends, so it’s fun to look good and catch up with people.

I really love seeing people in love, I’m sappy as hell, but I really don’t like weddings and haven’t attended one since 2003 lol. Well, other than my own. My first marriage ceremony took place in a coffee shop in 2011 and we had two guests and dressed very casually. I’m getting married again in 12 days and we’re having three guests, I’m wearing a sundress that cost $40 CAD (last time I wore a dress was in 2017, to my gran’s funeral) and it’s taking place on a little beach down at the lakefront in our city.
Sometimes I wish I was more like you haha, occasionally I’m a bit envious of people who like big social events and have a lot of fun at large weddings and enjoy getting all dressed up… but yeah, I’m the literal opposite of that lol.

Yessss. Me and my husband love weddings. Maybe not every month though. We always love having an excuse to dance. We enjoy meeting other people from the wedding couples life. We enjoy traveling for weddings and seeing new places. And I’m such a sucker for when the bride walks down the aisle. I cry everytime 😂

My friends all bloody refuse to get married 😂 I’ve done my share with two weddings but I can’t carry the load for everyone and I don’t know if I could face a third one.
Nope, they’re ridiculously expensive and as a minimum cost me at least £1k to attend between travel, hotel, gifts and something to wear. I wish society would normalise celebrating many other things, especially as the success rate of marriages isn’t particularly great!
