100%. Just wait till you get older and are in peri/menopause! it’s all about the hormones, too! as we age, our estrogen declines and with that, so does the body’s ability to burn fat; in fact, it wants to hold onto fat 😭
Highly recommend counting calories, and tracking macros. As you age your metabolism slows down but it’s still possible to drop slow and healthy weight just by tracking how much food you eat.
Read up/ watch content with Dr. Stacy Sims. She is revolutionizing the way women diet and exercise. Her thing is “women aren’t small men”. Something that works for a man will not necessarily work for a woman. So if you’re doing things like not eating first thing in the morning, doing too much cardio…you are doing a disservice to your body. I could go on about her but just watch her Ted Talk and you’ll be fired up to learn more.
Yep, much harder. This is my second and last time gaining weight and now losing it. By now in my 20s, I would have been probably 75% towards my goal. Right now I’d say I’m about 30%.

I don’t. I lose weight fine. I’m going to switch to a carnivore diet soon to shred it off faster.
