I hope so. We do too much harm for everything – from little animals to entire systems of plants. Even more for ourselves. I do not fear Russia/China entering a nuclear conflict with EUA and ending it all. Let it be, the world will be better w/o us.
I want the end of the world as we know it but I also wouldn’t be so bummed about the end of the world for humans only. The animals should have the planet returned to them instead of everything dying, as would happen in a typical “end of the world” scenario.
My young adult kids deserve a life. I did not bring them into this world to suffer and die in a terrible zombie apocolypse.

No of course not, I have a daughter and even if I didn’t, I’ve always focused on the good parts over the bad ones (I have so much to be grateful for, much more than your average person even in America).. hoping the global narrative turns around or bursts thru the dark to something better cuz shit looks grim, just abysmal.
I’d rather the world get fixed. Then the world end. We have very little power over the world ending or not. We are so fragile that it’s a miracle we are still around. In all honesty. So I’d rather work on fixing the world. And fixing myself. I think it’s also kind of selfish to be so miserable in your own life, that you want to control others life like that. There are people who are poor and are having a hard time that choose to be happy over angry, sad, etc. You and other that agree want to end life for everyone even if they don’t want that?
Nor should you want your life to end, and you should seek some kind of help and support. In some way. Chances are, if you’re on a device, like a phone, or a tablet or computer….your doing a hell of a lot better than a lot of people.
I’m not trying to shame your opinion eaither. I’m suggesting help, because you deserve it. I’m pointing out how flawed wanting everyone to end because the world ended, and I’m pointing out that life might not be as bad as you think (or we, because in truth, I’m not the happiest and stress free it might seem, but I’m working hard on it). And life is short. Enjoy it however you can, while you can. Maybe a meteor crashes into us in a few years and it does all end. All we can do is try to look at the beauty of this world and life. Go out and look at nature. Go out and look up at the night sky (yes it’s full of satilights, but you can still see the stars) and just look out into the distance. This I’d a beautiful world.
I’ve thought about it. I love life in many ways, but the suffering of non-human animals is barbaric. Slaughter houses are some of the most insanely cruel murdering systems of other living beings. Instead of us moving by towards more humane ways of being, we are stripping women of the rights to their own bodies, allowing billionaires access to our social security numbers in the US and destroying the beautiful earth we live on and the lives of billions of people. We have people who cannot afford a place to live or food to eat, while funding is pulled to help those people in need. I pay 48 percent of my hard earned salary to taxes and don’t see how it helps anyone in need. I certainly have no desire to fund Elon Musk and Donald Trump’s rancid pockets. Every day I watch my animal rescue friends deal with atrocities of abuse and neglect of cats and dogs thrown out windows and cruelly beaten. Men still degrade and abuse and rape women. We ban books and prevent literacy so that we aren’t a world of ideas but illiterate people who can be held down by an autocracy. We destroy and poison the only planet proven currently to host life.
I do think the human animal is a virus. I love life and I love living it, but I also don’t think it would be a bad thing if we were removed from it.
Classic Reddit. No ya silly wet wipe, of course not. There is so much good in the world. If you have nothing going for you in life it doesn’t mean you should.wish for everyone’s lives to end. Sort yourself out
I’m getting really tired of everything. I feel so exhausted by the “noise” happening. Now generally I love my life & how it goes but it’s becoming so much that it’s consuming my being. All I wish is that everyone had the same opportunity that I had but instead we get fucked at every corner. I’ve contemplated ending my life a few times in the last few weeks but I think that’s due to work stress which is made worse everyday by this administration
Unfortunately world ending is rarely cool, like an asteroid strike, it’s probably more like… air gets bad that it hurts to breathe, disease becomes rampant, murder rates go up and the poor are affected instantly while rich people are safe 🥲
Fun fact this kind of thinking actually ranks quite high on national security risk registers. There is a real worry that one day someone with access and ability will decide they want to make their post apocalyptic day dreams a reality
I don’t always feel like this. I don’t like the idea of the whole world dying. But after this January, I started feeling like I wanted extraterrestrial aliens to take over or a massive asteroid to fall. Space aliens sound like they would be a better president than a badly spray tanned man baby that is ruining our global reputation. Complete societal collapse counts as end-of-the world even if humans survive in a diminished state. If the asteroid is big enough, it will take us out immediately. I even started to low-key want the Yellowstone caldera to erupt already. The Yellowstone supervolcano overdue at this point already anyway. Enough ash in the atmosphere might cool the Earth off. Sure there is going to be a volcanic winter, there will be complete societal collapse for North America and some disruption for the rest of the World, but it’s a reset and people can do better after the reset.
But again, I hate thinking like this because I want hope and I can easily see the reality of the end-of-the world scenarios. The world ending slowly will cause so much suffering and chaos. And thinking about the quick world-ending ones show give me extremely nihilistic thoughts that could be dangerous for me.
You are helping capitalism while complaining about it. It’s hypocritical. We need to take down capitalism while going along with it and helping it. Make it make sense. If I don’t want to get hit by a car, I don’t run out in front of a car.
I would start talking about the better system. And how it can be done. I would do the opposite of anything capitalistic. Don’t buy anything from companies, because that is giving them more capital.
I’m not trying to be mean and get the down votes I’m getting. I’m trying to help. People keep giving this system money, it keeps going. You don’t have to have a cell phone to live. It’s a luxury we buy from companies. You don’t have to have a computer. It’s a luxury. Social media. Which is all owned by capitalist companies. A larger luxury. Am I wrong?

Changed, moreso than end. I don’t want to lose the good things, but we can do without the bad.
Not end. Just a deep cleanse take the good. Leave the bad.
Lowkey want the apocalypse. Just not having to do anything or listen to anyone, find my own stuff and fend for my self type of vibe. But end nah
I used to have fantasies about thi a and me being w my baby when it ended. So passionate but no reality is the world’s just starting to come alive
Literally easier to imagine the end of the world than life without capitalism.
We currently have the ability to produce far more than we need to provide basic needs to pretty much every human.
But we don’t.
Absolutely not.
You should go to therapy OP along with anyone else feeling like this. Sad to see the amount of agreement.

I miss covid, I wish for the apocalypse
I want it to end for the bad ones. Leaving the good ones to enjoy fresh air again and know what it was really supposed to be like.

Life is a gift. ❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻
Not necessarily end but… The worst thing that could’ve happened to this planet was humans. We have or will destroy everything we have.
To be honest I’d most like a zombie apocalypse but slow walking dead types rather than world war z fast type of zombies 🤣
yes because i want myself deleted as well

No, I just want it to change for the better. Too bad more people prefer hate over love nowadays.

No I just want life to be less work- focused. If the apocalypse happens, no more 40 hours, so that’s a positive

I think the world is overdue for a serious reset.
I don’t want the world to end. I want those who deserve their karma to get it faster than they do.

Only on mondays… and tuesdays… and most of the week tbh
Yes
Were in end times
Lo-key? Hi-key!
Eh, I want change but if a meteor was coming I’d accept it
No
It’s going to in a blink of eye which means none of this ever happened.
Fun fact this kind of thinking actually ranks quite high on national security risk registers. There is a real worry that one day someone with access and ability will decide they want to make their post apocalyptic day dreams a reality
Not the whole world, just humanity in its current form. But that will happen eventually. Nature is a self-correcting system after all.
I wouldn’t call us evil or anything grandiose like that. We’re just a little too widespread and nothing regulates us.

There’s too much good for me to just want it to end. But we definitely need shit to change like, years ago
I would love to be in a different timeline that wasn’t this one. I know it could be worse but I know it could be a lot better!
Low key just for me. I don’t want any happy people or people enjoying life to have it taken away.
