20 years ago I went through a rough period of my life and had a breakdown. I was admitted to a health clinic and spent several days there and was diagnosed with depression. I got through the rough patch and have no other history or other episodes since then.
I was thinking of leaving this part out of my application process since it’s medical and it happened such a long time ago. I’m afraid it would disqualify me.
My question is if my background investigation would likely discover this?
I don’t want to start my career with hiding stuff but I think it would look really bad if I disclosed it and feel since it’s medical, maybe I can keep it private.
Thank you for any advice
