I cringe so hard when I come across their videos on YouTube…

A lot of people think they are, and they definitely don’t deserve the title of “Dr”

I think they believe what they practice but it’s utter bollocks and can end up making injuries worse.

Mostly, yes. Cracking your joints can feel good. It’s not solving posture issues. And for goodness sakes, their foot baths are just an iron cattle trough warmers in salt water.

I had a chiropractor tell me he’ll get me fixed up for the weekend after I told him I had trouble sitting and standing with my sciatica. The dude only popped my back twice in less than 5mins and then charged us $80 for the day. I only went 3 times. My back never got better and they’ll definitely say that rest is not the answer and to cross your legs in ways that makes the pain worse. I don’t even think they know what to do really without a x-ray. You’re better off with a massager or masseuse. Only way I got better was through rest and one really good massage. But it’s hard to make time for rest if you work. Luckily I had unemployment at the time. Also I hurt my back again recently and found an unorthodox way of healing. The first time I got hurt, it lasted for 4-5 months. This second time recently lasted 2 months and I didn’t do it my way until a month in.

    Some? Yes.

    All? No.

Can they help with your back pain? Yes.

Can they help with your cancer? No…

Personally I’ve had a good experience in the past.

As a competitive runner I was getting all sorts of different overuse injuries. The chiropractor was the only one who noticed that I had a limb length discrepancy.

And in the past, I’ve had cases where I had a muscle spasm in my neck or back they were able to fix it.

However, as I’ve got older I’m a bit more concerned about the idea of cracking or popping your back or neck vertebrae. It just seems a little bit dangerous to me.

Some people with chronic back pain have good results with a chiro.

My orthopedic doctor once told me “ Chiropractors are one trick ponies. If that trick doesn’t work you’re out of luck”
