Are there positions outside the U.S. for someone with a J.D. only?

r/

Looking to make it out of the U.S. but I’m not sure what, if anything, I would be able to do with a J.D. Does anyone know of any positions in academia where only a J.D. would be sufficient? I do also have a B.Sc and B.A. if that’s at all helpful. Thanks all!

I think it depends on your specialty in law. There might be places hiring US JD’s to teach American business law to foreign investors or foreign business lawyers. I can’t imagine there’s going to be much of a market for American criminal attorneys.
