Im more of a night shower, because who wants to sleep in their bed after spending the whole day outside, even if i stayed home all day ill still take a shower at night because i wanna sleep clean and comfortably in bed after a long day of doing nothing
I shower at night. I do a lot of physical work outside so at the end of the day I need to shower to get all the sweat and dirt off me, so I don’t dirty up my sheets as quickly, and don’t get itchy from all the grime accumulated during the day
I prefer to do it at night but last night, I had a guest that stayed a bit later than expected and I didn’t want to go to bed with wet hair so I showered this morning.
In the cooler months, I shower once a day in the morning.
Now that it’s getting warmer, I tend to sweat during the day so that means that I shower in the morning to freshen up and then I take another shower at night to cool down and wash away the griminess.
81M here. I used to be a morning shower person, but now that I’m retired and living with Parkinson’s Disease, I take a shower whenever I feel up to it and my nephew/caregiver is available to help me get in and out of the tub/shower. I wish I had a walk-in shower, but they’re very expensive.
Both. With the kind of weather that we have, a bath in the morning and at night is absolutely fine. Heck, I would even shower at noon if time allows it.
Both. Night to wash off the day, morning to wake up and feel a bit more refreshed. Only might skip the night one if/when I get in from work if I’m gross and shower there and then!
I prefer both of them, because at night we sweat too and I take a shower in the morning, we’ll and in the evening and after a long day I also take a shower
If I’m working, then in the morning. Day off, then the evening. Dunno why, it just kind of ended up that way and stuck with it. Either way, I make sure to Shower everyday
Both, actually. Quick rinse in the morning to wake up, proper shower at night to wash off the day. My water bill hates me, but my mental health thanks me.
Morning. If i shower in the evening, even just before bed, my hair is a disgusting mess in the morning. Greasy and stuck in a variety of directions that combing can’t fix. It has to be wet and washed before I can leave the house.
Both, short morning shower to freshen up and shave, then a long hot shower before bed to deep clean and relive muscle/back pain. Moisturizer is a must if you take two a day.
Morning. I have to be, if I don’t want my hair to look greasy at work. I’d love to be a night shower person instead, but it’s just not feasible for me.
I prefer to shower after cardio (30-60 minutes) in the morning, then shower again later after exercising (calisthenics or weightlifting for 30-60 minutes) or when I’m settling in for the day. I try not to keep my showers longer than they should be when this is the case.
Although, I do try to follow suit through the weekend, but I do like having to rest. Generally, showering once during rest days.
Morning shower, no question. Nothing hits like standing under hot water while your soul slowly boots up. It’s like pressing “refresh” on your entire existence.
I take a “full shower” at night. In the morning, I hop in the shower just to rinse, no soap or shampoo. This helps wake me up and makes things like doing my hair easier.
In order to bathe at night I would have to get up before 6am, so I hop into the tub at 9:00 once my kids are in bed and I’ve thrown in the last load of laundry. I get up at 6:15, drink my coffee and do my 5-min face, get dressed, have a bagel, and read the news on my phone in the half hour or so before my husband and kids get up.
Night. Morning showers never made sense to me. If I take a shower before bed I am waking up clean. If I wake up and shower and then go about my day, I go to bed dirty.
I’m a shower before I leave the house person. I work shifts that start at 8a, 2p, 5p, or 10p. They mix all around. I usually have an hour and a half routine to get ready and leave for work which includes my shower. I tend to work very long shifts and if I’m not daisy fresh when I start, I start to get stinky by the end.
I do both. I feel yucky if I just get dressed and leave the house in the morning. Then I need a shower before bed to wash off all the stupid stank from dealing with idiots all day.
I prefer to do it in the morning cause when I do it at night before I go to bed my hair ends up kind of messy and tangled and whatnot, but when I do it in the morning it air dries and retains silkiness
People questioning why people sweat during the day aren’t thinking about the fact that your skin is constantly in a state of perspiring water and whatever fluids and oils the skin does. On the flip side, claiming you have dry skin doesn’t mean your dead skin cells aren’t flaking off and accumulating on surfaces such as your clothe or bedding.
Just take the shower before bed always and a shower in the morning if it helps you waken up. Stop going to bed gross ☠️
Middle of the day guy myself. I workout before work and always end with a run so I get pretty sweaty. I work from home so I usually come running through the door right before my shift starts. I’ll work for a bit and then on my afternoon break I’ll hit the shower
Night. I also have 3 kids and bathe them at night. It’s pointless to shower them in the mornings. I feel the same for me as well. I don’t want to go to bed with the filth I collect during the day.
Comments
Night. I prefer to go to bed clean. Plus it keeps the sheets a bit cleaner.

Now that it’s getting warmer, I tend to sweat during the day so that means that I shower in the morning to freshen up and then I take another shower at night to cool down and wash away the griminess.
Morning……it wakes me up and makes me feel good about myself. Also, I sleep with a dachshund who isn’t picky😂
I am both. I refuse to go to bed dirty, and I shower in the morning to wake myself up and to also be clean smelling for my arduous/sweaty job.
Night. Every minute more I can spend in bed in the morning is valuable. I’m not a morning person.
Both
Both. I do cardio in the morning and shower. I do weights at night and shower. But a hot shower before bed in a cold room is the best the fall asleep
Prefer morning, but twice if I put on a sweat through out my day.
Morning. I’d love to shower at night and still feel clean in the morning but sometimes I get sweaty so it isn’t possible :-/
Both.
Morning shower to freshen up for the day, brush teeth, do hair, skin care routine, etc.
Night shower happens ONLY after a finish a work out.
I shower both morning and night. Get my workout in at 6AM, rinse off before work, then take a shower before bed.
Morning, cause it wakes me up.
Workdays I shower before work, which puts my showers at 2pm.
On days when I’m off I shower before I go to bed.
81M here. I used to be a morning shower person, but now that I’m retired and living with Parkinson’s Disease, I take a shower whenever I feel up to it and my nephew/caregiver is available to help me get in and out of the tub/shower. I wish I had a walk-in shower, but they’re very expensive.
Every morning. It’s part of my wake-up routine.
Never go to bed dirty
Night if I workout at night. Otherwise morning!
I prefer morning, but I will not wake up earlier than absolutely necessary. So, I’ve been night for a while now.
Both. With the kind of weather that we have, a bath in the morning and at night is absolutely fine. Heck, I would even shower at noon if time allows it.
Night so I can go to bed clean
Both. I like to be clean twice a day.
Night so I can go to bed clean 🧽
At night to wash off the days funk.
Both. Night to wash off the day, morning to wake up and feel a bit more refreshed. Only might skip the night one if/when I get in from work if I’m gross and shower there and then!
Night shower
Both cause I feel nasty if I dont shower.
Night. I hate the idea of getting up early to shower in the morning, especially because I have long, thick hair that takes forever to dry.
Also, I’d rather go to bed clean. I’d rather not wake up dirty.
Morning. It makes me feel better and ready for the day.
Both.
Man who go to bed with sweaty ass wake up with smelly fingers
Morning shower because hair looks like a psycho killer in morning
Morning cause it wakes me up
Days I work would have to be both. Wash everything before bed and then get a refresher right before work. On my days off I only shower at night.
Wild take here…afternoon shower
Both – showering at night is essential imo but helps me feel fresh for the day in the morning
Night. Go to bed clean save time in the morning
Night. I work in a kitchen and get dirty and sweaty and don’t want to be marinating in that all night.
Nothing i want to do less in the morning than getting completely soaked
Night/evening. I like going to bed feeling clean. And if I’ve had a rough day, it’s nice to “wash the day off” before bed.
I need the warm wake-up. And I wash my sheets pretty regularly.
Both. But one time it’s antibacterial (night) and the other time a moisturizing wash.
Both, actually. Quick rinse in the morning to wake up, proper shower at night to wash off the day. My water bill hates me, but my mental health thanks me.
Lunch shower here
Morning, I wake up with massive bed head and I worry about smelling after sleeping. I want to feel refreshed when I start my day.
Morning, don’t know why lol

I can’t understand going all day out and about your schedule and activities and going to bed with out showering only to do it in the morning .
Morning shower on weekdays and no shower on weekends 🫢
Morning. Only way my hair cooperates is after a shower.
I am a person who showers. Whether it’s night or morning doesn’t matter.
Morning after my workout.
Both. Feels good.
Night. Who wants to go to bed stinky? I like my bed clean.
Morning showers are great too, helps me be more productive during the day.
I love the feeling of both but it really depends on how I feel.
I shower at night. I prefer to get in my sheets clean.
Used to be night shower. Haven’t had a shower in 6 months – don’t have one at the moment.
Depends on how tired I am that night. Usually I take one in the morning because it helps me wake up.
Morning shower, no question. Nothing hits like standing under hot water while your soul slowly boots up. It’s like pressing “refresh” on your entire existence.
Mostly both
I take a “full shower” at night. In the morning, I hop in the shower just to rinse, no soap or shampoo. This helps wake me up and makes things like doing my hair easier.
I am a shower at lunch type. I wfh.
Depends on my day. I always shower before work, if I get dirty or sweaty during the day I shower before bed.

Both
Night. Morning showers never made sense to me. If I take a shower before bed I am waking up clean. If I wake up and shower and then go about my day, I go to bed dirty.
Both. Full detailed scrub down at night. Quick shower in the morning to refresh and wake up.
Morning, typically every other day or so unless I’ve done something active, in which case it’s as-needed.
I mainly shower in the morning.
Helps me wake up and feel better throughout the day.
But if it has been a hot day and I worked a lot outdoors, I may shower sometime before bed.
I do both. I feel yucky if I just get dressed and leave the house in the morning. Then I need a shower before bed to wash off all the stupid stank from dealing with idiots all day.
You come home after a 16 hour shift scrubs in all kinds of mystery fluids and tell me u going to bed without showering
I used to be a night shower person, but now it’s whenever I can convince myself to do it.
Morning.
Helps me wake up better than a coffee. It makes me feel good, which gives me confidence and I can use that at work.
Twice a day shower kind of person
Neither, I bathe at midnight
I’m weekly shower kind of person.
Evening – go to bed clean
Morning. It wakes me up plus, I can start the day clean and fresh.
Morning.
I prefer to do it in the morning cause when I do it at night before I go to bed my hair ends up kind of messy and tangled and whatnot, but when I do it in the morning it air dries and retains silkiness
Night. I work with the public. Nuff said.
Neither. I’m more of a bath person. Showers are just too short to be enjoyable.
Morning because I sweat a lot ay night
Both actually Perks of having OCD
Night because I have kids and can’t shower til they’re in bed

Just take the shower before bed always and a shower in the morning if it helps you waken up. Stop going to bed gross ☠️
Morning. Becasue my hair is a disaster after sleeping. I get night sweat and my hair just tangles into a mess.
Night. Makes me sleep better plus I prefer being in bed clean. But in the summer I would sometimes shower both at night and in the morning.
Night
night shower, I like to get in my bed clean
Definitely night, feels better when i get clean into the bed
Morning: The best part of waking up is taking a long-needed piss under a steaming hot shower.
I also shave in the shower.
I will also take a shower at night if I need it.
Night. By time I wake up my hair is dry and I’m good to go
Morning! It just wakes me up.
Used to be morning, now night. Don’t really have time to shower in the morning. The kids wake up early
Middle of the day guy myself. I workout before work and always end with a run so I get pretty sweaty. I work from home so I usually come running through the door right before my shift starts. I’ll work for a bit and then on my afternoon break I’ll hit the shower
