Yes i saw her in 7th grade walking out of science class. im usually not a very motivated person or someone who has drive or likes material things but when i saw her Something in me clicked and i knew i had to do everything in my power to try and win her over. we became friends and started dating freshman year of high school. we are still together 15 years later.
I told this story once before on Reddit, but I think it’s worth repeating.
First time we talked, my roommate invited her over to watch a boxing match. Everyone gave up on the game except her and me. I had cooked myself a bowl of frozen undercooked rice and corn, with soy sauce, and oil slathered on top. I also had some bud light and my little dog.
She sat across from me and looked at me with total disgust.
Slowly she taught me how to cook. Now I make my own fresh tortillas. I salt bae with the best of them. I bake fresh bread.
But every once I get a craving for some bud light and a giant bowl of frozen corn. The dog is pushing 17, but she’s still kicking.
So point is, not a lot of men can say that their wife still looks at them the same way as the first day they met. But I certainly can.
Hope I don’t regret posting this, but pretty sure I met the one. I’ve literally never had as much chemistry as I do with her. We’ve barely known each other a couple weeks and it feels like years. We finish each other’s sentences, we have all the same favorite everything, we literally are each other’s dream person. I think give me a couple years to build myself up and I would happily marry this girl.

I have been married to her for 53yrs and I knew the moment I saw her walking across the parking lot at college she was the one.🥰
