Riddler is extremely egotistical, and it seems like everything he does against Batman is to prove he’s better than him. What if Batman was just like “Ya you are better than me” even if he’s lying? I feel like Nigmas entire motivation goes out the window

From what I understand the Riddler doesn’t start doing crime to taget the Batman. He targets the Batman because the batman stopped his crime. Would Nigma leave the Batman alone? Maybe. Would Nigma stop doing crime? No.
No, he’d see through that and leave Batman harder riddles for trying to trick him.
Riddler would be ecstatic for a few seconds, before going back to his usual antics until Batman announced that to everyone in Gotham, or further outraged that Batman would dare try to placate him like he’s a tantrum throwing toddler. Riddler is a pretty damaged dude.
He would know or at least believe he’s lying and absolutely flip out. He’d then proceed to try and prove he’s better than Batman, either by trying to kill him or doing something he knows Batman can’t ignore like killing civilians.
If he succeeded at that how ever I’m not sure how he’d react. It would take away his entire motivation. He would likely come up with some new delusional and grandiose goal eventually to replace it. Ruling the world/city probably.
Riddler’s MO in the Arkham games is to hold people hostage to force Batman to participate. He can’t just say that Riddler is better because people’s lives are on the line.
Also, Riddler just wouldn’t believe him.
Nigma is, regrettably, insane.
He’d soon either want to prove he was still smarter than batman, or worry that batman was lying and he’s fallen for his trap. Either way, riddle trap two coming up!
Riddler responds with some variation of either “You think I need your validation?!” or “This must be some of kind of test or trick Batman, I won’t fall for it!”
From how obsessed he becomes in the Arkham verse I don’t think he’d accept a concession or acknowledgment from Batman only defeat and he’d never be satisfied with just winning once
“YOU ARE LYING TO FEEL ME BETTER! I NEED TO PROVE TO THE WORLD THAT I AM SUPERIOR”
