I’m a guy with a naturally feminine-sounding voice. Every time I go through a drive-thru or call a company, they say things like “ma’am” or “miss.” I correct them but it still sticks with me.
I’m not ashamed of it. I’ve accepted how I sound. I’m grateful to God that I even have a voice. Some people can’t speak at all. Nothing about me looks feminine except for how I sound. Physically I look like a any other guy. I have facial hair, a strong posture, and I take care of myself.
But sometimes I wonder if this turns women off. Do they hear my voice and assume I’m feminine or gay? I’ve seen reactions where it felt like they pulled away or acted unsure just because of that one detail.
So I want to ask honestly. Would you date a man with a feminine voice? And if not, why?
TL;DR:
I’m a masculine guy with a feminine-sounding voice. People often mistake me for a woman on the phone. I’m confident in who I am, but I wonder if this turns women off. Would you date a man with a feminine voice?

Are you just saying you have a higher pitched voice, or do you actually have a “feminine” voice?
As a man myself with a slightly higher register, it’s never been a problem.
