The cities I keep going back to are Copenhagen and Riga. I never run out of things to do in Copenhagen and I think maybe I just like Latvians and their food. Both are just relaxed places with beautiful scenery and fun shopping. Very different from each other in a lot of ways, but I like the energy of them both.
London is fun for multiple visits because there’s always something new to find and do because of its size. But my favourite overall was Prague. The most beautiful city I’ve ever visited.
I love football and darts and I’m also big fan of drinking pints in a pub and pub food. Absolutely perfect place. Also there is always shitty weather so it’s nice excuse to go to pub and drink.
Also proper Brittish geezers are absolutely amazing people.
I don’t have one favourite city, it really depends on what kind of holiday I’m looking for:
Culture: Tuscan cities, Rome, Paris, Copenhagen, Stockholm
With Friends: Prague, London, Berlin, Edinburgh, Budapest, Riga
With the Mrs.: Paris, Rome, Barcelona, Madrid
Wine: Beaune, Dijon, Alba/Asti, Siena, Bordeaux, Heidelberg
Then there’s a whole Kids / Beach category with smaller places at the Mediterranean / North Sea / Atlantic.
Rome and Madrid are great cities in 2 very different ways. Love them. Beautiful, loads of culture, amazing food, amazing nightlife and not too expensive compared to Paris, London & co.
Tallinn in Estonia, it’s just absolutely enchanting and beautiful, especially if you are into medieval stuff. And the Estonian food and nature are also just excellent.
Rome!
I’m an Italian living abroad but I’m not originally from Rome, however is my absolute favorite city for a weekend trip or bridge holidays. There is so much to see, experience and eat. The people are amazing, fun and friendly and even if it’s a bit chaotic, I love its atmosphere.

I’ve been to Copenhagen three times and really like it.
Last summer I also visited Krakow, and I think they’re now both at a shared number one spot.

Venice. Its so beautiful but i reduced my travels there heavily because the locals are terribly overrun by tourists

Gdansk, Porto.
Wine river place for the summer.
Beer river place for the winter.
There is much more to both of these things, but this feels like the most simple, British way of selling it.

I like Bratislava, it’s smaller capital. Ideal for one day trip from Vienna or Czechia and also not crowded

For me it’s Amsterdam, Vienna and Madrid.
I can’t even say exactly why, i just really enjoyed being in these cities everytime i was there.
Haarlem. It’s so quiet and very vegetarian friendly.
