Maybe not all automatic toilets, but the one’s I’ve seen all suck. I know it’s meant for convenience so you don’t have to touch the toilet handle to flush, germs and all that. But those things flush whenever they want. They will flush when you are still doing your business, and all that toilet water just plashed back up on your ass. It happens fast too so there isn’t much time to react, very unpleasant. And it seems they only flush when you don’t want them too! Because, for me at least, when i actually try to activate the sensor it never works and I end up having to use the side button to flush it anyway. Additionally, sometimes when they do flush they don’t even flush all the way! There will still be pieces of toilet paper in the bowl. I’ve just been thinking about this lately because I’m a student and I have pretty much only found bathrooms with automatic toilets that do all these things.
The only thing I think these toilers are actually good for are potentially for people with disabilities who might have trouble with toilet handles.
