Barely knowing a girl I like and in a difficult situation (M25)

r/

Hello, I recently started talking to a girl for barely a week. I met her at a gym, and spoke to her while we were both at the gym, and then she broke down in front of me crying unexpectedly. I noticed and I asked her what’s wrong, she had informed me someone close had passed in that moment. I tried to comfort her best I could without sounding pushy and unnecessarily uncomfortable for both of us. I told her I’m sorry for her loss and that I’m there for her, and then she had to go so she left, I got her number and texted her later that night that I’m sorry for her loss and that we don’t know each other but if she needs anything, I’m there to support her. She replied to me later that night thanking me. I replied to her the following morning with a text checking up on her on how she’s doing. She hasn’t replied since and I don’t plan to send her any texts more unless she replies to me because of what she’s going through. Keep in mind we barely know each other, she is someone I’m attracted to and interested in. But let me know if you guys think what I did is odd or the right thing, if I could’ve done something more or not, or if I did just enough. I feel that I did the best and right thing in that situation. It’s something I never experienced. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks

TL;DR
We barely know each other and someone close to her passed and she broke down crying in front of me, I tried to comfort her best as I could in that moment and have tried my best to be supportive for this girl even though we just formed a new relationship
