Obviously circumstances can change things. Having a child with special needs or multiples can definitely make it a harder job. But all things considered, I’d rather be wiping butts and making sandwiches all day than sitting at a desk with no windows in sight. I get to go on walks whenever I want to, days at the park if I feel like it, days inside under a blanket all day if I want to stay in. And the work is fulfilling. Fostering a life is way more meaningful than making someone else richer. Doing the dishes and laundry are going to happen anyways—it’s actually nice that housework is my main job rather than what I do after a long day of work. My child drives me nuts sometimes but not any more than a daytime job would. I think stay at home moms in general don’t appreciate how nice it can really be. This isn’t a dig at any parent who decides to work instead of staying home either. As long as your kids are cared for that’s what matters. I’m just saying being a SAHM is pretty nice and I wouldn’t trade it.

That’s great just pretty vague on what your job options are almost like your telling your self every job is so boring and what your doing is the best thing for you anyways that sounds great though sometimes I wish I can be a women and just give birth and chill

Stay at home mom is a very important job. Too many people look down on it or try and trivialize it. While it’s very worthwhile, it’s also exhausting, especially emotionally.
Agreed! It’s hard but everything you say is how I feel too! It’s actually amazing and rewarding.
Just most women who go back to their paid work don’t decide. They need to go. At least from my experience.
Sure some make the decision but where I live you can most likely not survive on one income.
