Best shoes for someone averaging 15k steps a day?

r/

I recently got promoted a restaurant manager after years of grinding and for 8 hours a day I’m pacing the floor. I track my steps through my Fitbit and most nights I hit 18k steps and on the slow days I’m hitting 15k. I’m in search for my near regular as I’m finally in a position to afford comfort. Hit me with your best recommendations and reasons please!

Thanks in advance!

I don’t have a specific shoe recommendation as there might be factors in restaurant safety I’m not considering.

But my general advice from past experience putting that many steps onto a concrete factory floor every day, is that once you find comfort of fit, you replace them far more often than you have been. Don’t wait for the aches and pains to tell you it’s time for a new pair. Stay on fresh padding if you can afford it.
