Black women, what successful methods have you found to grow out your hair?

    Honestly…locs. My hair is the longest it’s ever been because I leave it alone, I think 😂
    They aren’t for everyone and I understand that 100% BUT my hair has been thriving for the 4 years I’ve had them.
    I wash it about once every other week and spray with water and Taliah Wajid leave-in conditioner in between when it’s dry or my scalp is itchy. Retwist ~ every two months. My hair is bra-strap length now and it would never get past my shoulders as a loose natural.

    I’m locked currently, but the last couple of years before low manipulation helped.
