I am the sales director for a company and during the course of June and and July myself and my sales person each accumulated around $1500 of bonus’s (essentially our commission but this is how they phrase it so they can change the incentives monthly) each. The checks were supposed to be released along with scheduled payroll checks the first week of July and the First week of August. This obviously never happened. I brought this to the attention of my general manager, whom sent the concern and documents to my regional supervisor (final signature on said documents). I was cc’d on the email including the documents and there was never a response. Fast forward to today (payday) and the checks still have not been released to us. I brought this to the head of payroll, who agreed that my supervisor was supposed to sign and submit weeks ago but never did, and I still have not heard anything back after this morning. Is there anything that I can legally do to ensure these are paid to me as I have bills to pay and do not work for free? Bonus points if it also kind of fucks the company as they have been difficult to work for from the start, actively lied about many things in the interview process, and scold me for things that other departments handle entirely. I have interviews lined up to get out soon but I am not leaving without my money. Thanks I’m advance if you can offer any assistance.
