We’ve been dating for four months now. So, a couple of weeks ago I (27M) was putting music on girlfriend (29F)’s phone and saw a message with a female friend of hers that was about me. My girlfriend sent her a photo message with one view only, but I know it was about the amount of time we were seeing each other, and her friend made a joke about me saying that if she told me that, I would jump off a bridge. I told my girlfriend what had happened and we left it at that. I was worried that they were making fun of me but she promises that she hasn’t.
Fast forward to today, I wanted to know what they were talking about so I, regrettably, I went through my girlfriend’s phone, opened the chat with her friend and searched for “jump off a bridge”. The problem is that, this time, it was my girlfriend who said it, after her friend said that there was something that I couldn’t know, after at least three photo messages with one view.
I asked my girlfriend if she ever made fun of me or if she ever sent another photo message like that, without telling her that I went through her phone, and she told me that that was the only time she did it, and I needed to trust her. Then she asked me if I had seen something on her phone, and I told her no.
We both lied and I don’t know what to do anymore. Is it any way to not end this?
tl;dr I went through my girlfriend’s phone and saw a conversation about me with many photo messages with one view, and a friend told her that I couldn’t know something, and she made fun of me, and then my GF lied about it.

You couldn’t even go 4 months without violating this woman’s privacy and trust by going through her phone.
You are not mature enough to be in a relationship. Break up and don’t date anyone until you grow up a bit.
