Context of text exchange: I (19F) was doing the harmony from the song “Touch It” by Ariana Grande, specifically the falsetto part but I instead did it in whistle register which is extremely difficult and I’m technically untrained. I’m used to my boyfriend (23M) being “nonchalant” and mean to me sometimes but this feels like, really rude? Idk. I just know I’d never think or want to speak to him the way he just spoke to me.
Lately he’s been trying to push how mean he can get towards me before I leave or crack and I’m not sure why. He has a lot of trauma but so do I. And if I complain he’ll usually say he was just joking and it’s how he speaks to people he loves. I’ve been with him for a 8 months now and it’s gotten worse with time.
