r/

Hello and happy Friday everyone!! I need help with bringing up my credit score. I have a capital one CC with a 5,000 limit and I was always great with my payments but due to unfortunate circumstances I did have to use the full amount. My credit score was 700 but it just dropped 50 points it’s 650 now, my credit score hasn’t been this low since I was 20(I’m 24 now) I’m panicking and I just need help with getting my credit up. Any tips please anything is recommended!!

Pay off the card. Credit card debt will destroy you in the long run. Get a second job, do whatever.

Getting a second card (but don’t use it!) will lower your credit utilization rate (by upping the amount of credit you have overall) which will give you a small boost. But focus on paying off that first card.
