Occasionally after take a dump, or even a wicked piss, I’ll get a case of the ‘shivers.’ You know, an involuntary feeling the creeps up the back till it hits ones shoulders and causes them to shake. I know I’m not the ONLY one as I’ve heard others mention them also. The only other activity that I can think of that produces something similar is an orgasm. And even then – it’s kind of different.
I’l accept your funny replies. But I’m kind of serious. There’s got to be some sort of physiological, organic, or evolutionary reason behind them.
EDIT: I never in a million years would of thought of googling “Shit Shivers.” I did, and there’s a ton of information. What a time to be alive! Like u/ghostwillows says, it has a lot to do with “some vagus nerve nonsense” going on. Now I wonder what the vagus nerve is and does, and why it does it. More googling in store.

The why is up for debate but iirc it’s mostly a drop in blood pressure.
I have no evidence but this sounds like some vagus nerve nonsense and I would put money on that being the culprit
This happens to me and I need to lie down after. It’s a symptom of POTS but you need a doctor to diagnose that.
I always saw it as a relief of the muscles finally getting to relax after holding the dam tight for however long.
