Oregon is a two party consent state so you would likely be committing a crime by recording him without his knowledge.
Oregon is considered both a one-party and an all-party consent state, depending on the type of communication. For electronic communications, like phone calls, only one party needs to consent to the recording. However, for in-person conversations, all parties involved must consent to being recorded. So the company or the manager could sue you in return for the violation.
Oregon requires that you notify all parties they’re being recorded, so you can’t legally record your supervisor without his knowledge. If you’ve documented the instances where he has been overtly racist and believe this has created a hostile work environment (discrimination against a protected class), you should file an EEOC complaint.
