Can our landlord kick us out for this?? Please read.

So bottom line is that my brother got arrested last night and the police have been to our house, which is rented, to search it because of this. They won’t tell us anything because he’s 19 so they don’t have to. But our landlord has seen the police at the house and knows there’s three more police cars looking at a storage unit near here too because of my brother as well.

I live with my dad, brother (who’s been arrested) and my partner. Surely the landlord can’t punish us for this?

The landlords spoken to my dad and hasn’t said they want to kick us out or anything but she was clearly very unhappy, i don’t blame her but this isn’t our fault it’s my brothers. She’s going on about people saying they’ve smelt weed outside and that the cleaners have smelt it? but it’s not us? and it’s outside so why is she being like that? I just feel like a ball is rolling here towards her kicking us out and none of this has been 3/4 of our faults. This would be devastating we literally only moved in here a month ago because we were evicted from our last place after the landlords went bankrupt.

Can she kick us out for this? I’m so stressed hahaha
