I’m not sure what you had in mind but…
A warm, gentle breeze rustles through the leaves of the old oak tree where a young girl sits, her bare feet dangling and swinging. She’s wearing a simple, white cotton dress with small yellow flowers, the fabric soft and faded from many washings. Her hair, the color of spun gold, is tied back with a green ribbon that matches her eyes. As she smiles, a small gap between her front teeth, she hugs a worn teddy bear close to her chest. In this peaceful moment, surrounded by the lush greenery of the park on a sunny afternoon, she represents the pure, innocent beauty of childhood.
I know things feel overwhelming right now, but you’re stronger than you realize. Take it one step at a time—you don’t have to have it all figured out at once. You’ve got this. And remember, no matter what happens, the sun will always rise again tomorrow and it will be a new day.
Well. No human that ever existed had anything you don’t have, except maybe more money. Anything that anybody achieved, you can too. Sometimes it takes a lot of work and struggle, but you can endure it and you can achieve anything. You can do it
If you can, pause for a moment and picture your comfort item, and imagine the feeling it provides when you do have it. Now, with the image in your head and the feeling on your mind of the comfort item gives you when present and hold on to that. Now, take a few deep breaths, drink some water, stretch, eat something even if just something small. It’s important to ensure your basic needs are met in order to help calm the mind
It’s okay to be scared, but please remember—you are so much stronger and braver than you feel right now. You’re not alone, and you will get through this.
Rise up this morning, smiled with the rising sun
Three little birds pitch by my doorstep
Singing sweet songs of melodies pure and true
Saying, “This is my message to you-ou-ou”
Don’t worry about a thing
‘Cause every little thing gonna be alright
Singing, “Don’t worry about a thing
‘Cause every little thing gonna be alright”
-Three Little Birds, Bob Marley
There’s a saying from a buddhist nun, “I am the sky; everything else it just weather.” The idea being you are the sky and your feelings are the weather that comes and goes. You’re scared now. But that feeling will pass. Just observe it, like a cloud in the sky. It’ll pass.
And take comfort that dozens of strangers stopped to try and comfort you. You’re not alone.
When I was a child my mother took me to a forest. It was mostly quiet, i could hear birds chirping, the wind rustle through the trees. These massive pines the seemed to reach up into the sky. She showed me nests of birds, squirrels , chipmunks. I saw bunny rabbits hopping in a field, My Mother told me to look at the flowers, all the different colors and designs. She told me to smell them . I saw bees , bumblebees , butterflies, hummingbirds. She took me to a river I saw fish, a beaver working on his dam. Finally she took me to the top of the mountain, I could see the forest, the field and the river. “My Child” she said ” One day I will leave you. And where I go you cannot come. ” I asked her what she meant. She smiled at me , her long black hair blowing in the wind, her crystal blue eyes soft and loving. “My Child, many years ago I met your father walking through this forest. And one day I will leave to go find him again.” After that she took me home.
Never understood what she meant until years later.
Now they say the forest is haunted , that people have seen a woman with long black hair walking in the forest.
Hey, I know at the moment that this is really scary but I promise it will get better. Life is going to be more much more than you could have hoped for as a kid.
You have loads of people who love and support you. Just reach out if you need them (or me, because I’m in your corner now).
Love you, bye 🙂
Hey dude! I know the feeling, you’re not alone at all and we are all rooting for you I really hope you are able to feel a sense of relief knowing that all these internet strangers WANT you to have a sense of relief and comfort. You are valued and your fear and anxiety is valid, stay strong. We’re here for you. 💕💕
If your comfort item is a teddy bear, imagine one. Preferably with a brown fedora hat.
If you’ve ingested something, put the phone down and call someone.
If someone is making you scared, same thing.
If this is a storm, and really bad, get to where it’s safe… and sing something. Doesn’t matter if it’s too high for your voice. No one’s gonna say anything if you subbed in lower notes…
You reached out in scary times. I hope you find relief, if not solace. Many of us us have been there and I hope you find just the right touch of niceness. I wish I knew what has made you feel afraid so I could send some more specific vibes.
I’m afraid for my adult daughter. I worry about my ability to survive much longer given my financial state.’I worry about my loved one who has signs of early dementia.
I’m so sorry you’re feeling scared. I have been feeling really scared lately too. Sometimes it feels so overwhelming I get sick to my stomach and throw up. It’s a horrible feeling. I also get very hot and sit on my hardwood floors to try and cool down. My mind races. Is it like this for you? Some things that help me are talking if I can, hugging, putting a cold cloth on my head, breathing deeply and mindfully, accepting the fear and not being afraid of it (if I get scared of being scared my panic attacks go crazy), and helping others. Somehow I find that helping other people can also help me. All this to say, I understand. I see you. And this too shall pass. Take it one minute at a time and be patient with yourself. Hugs!!

Life is always a bit complicated and dark at times, but it’s also filled with light just around the corner. Hang in there, it’ll get better

You got this. There’s nothing put in front of you that you cannot face and see through. This too shall pass.

I send you warm hugs and happy thoughts. I also wish you peace.

I will tell you what I found helped me – nothing lasts forever. The dark times will pass, and tomorrow is a new day to try again
Sending you virtual hugs. And a warm drink and a cozy blanket. Hang in there. Things will get better.
There’s always going to be storms, some with rain drops, some with despair. The storm never stays, and sometimes brings a rainbow
I’m sorry that you’re scared! I’m sending you lots of love and hugs through the internet, dear stranger. 💜
It’s gonna be okay
I’m kind of an idiot, but even i found a good woman, raised good kids, AND learned to be a pretty good guitar player. You got this!
Please wear headphones 🙂 I hope sleep can help you. Though they’re old, they love you and would want to know if you’re feeling scared.
God loves you, and so do I.

My grandma used to say “in six months, you won’t even remember what you were scared of” I must say she was right. Who can remember six months ago??
Try not to commit
Faith vs fear.
It’s a choice, & although it may not change the outcome, it will change the way you experience the outcome.

Hey. Take a deep breath, okay? You’re doing better than you think. Whatever’s scaring you right now – it’s temporary
