Now, don’t me wrong, sprinkling Parmesan on your pasta is great and all and charcuterie boards are awesome. It just doesn’t make that much of a difference when it comes to a sandwich or sprinkling it on top of eggs. It’s just extra fat/calories that we could go without and wouldn’t even notice. That is all.

It’s important in a grilled cheese.
I dont ever put cheese on anything except pizza or tacos
You watch your language!
So…you eat a sandwich with no cheese? Just bread and mayo?? Extra fat and calories is what I want in a meal 😂
Cheese is KING – it belongs in or on almost everything!
Except PBJ of course.
Cheese is everything. I can’t even stomach a hamburger. It has to have cheese on it for me to eat.
I don’t need this negativity in my life. 🤣
Not important to you 🤣 for me it’s life ❤️
Wouldn’t even notice is crazy
Some cultures are defined by their relationship with cheese.

Hey you and the guy who posted 10 minutes after you about equal cheese to meat ratios on sandwiches should have a duel to the death.
Upvote, cause that is unpopular. $16B is pizza delivery in the US alone would suggest otherwise.
Speak for yourself. In my own humble opinion, cheese is a food group. I shopped for months for a wall to wall cheese drawer in my fridge. I eat cheese with everything. I would die without cheese and milk.
Well I think cheese is gross, so I suppose it is important, but for me it’s important to not have it. No cheese on sandwiches or burgers, I even get cheese-less pizzas.
I’d bet good money that blindfolded folks could tell the difference between a sandwich with cheese and one without. Because it’s a distinct difference…

Cheese is an ancient method for preserving dairy product, prevalent in much of the world, for millennia. It is one of the most important and widespread food discoveries and traditions in history. To poo poo it as unimportant, or not matter, is just patently and blatantly false and wrong. You may dislike cheese, but that is not equal to having an opinion that cheese is not “important.”
You’re tripping cheese is one of the best creations of this world! If you can’t enjoy a little cheese, then I feel sorry for you
I would notice no cheese on a sandwich. And I would also be VERY unhappy about that.
Have my upvote.
Unpopular indeed!
I’m telling the Italians
What do you put on pizza?
It’s important to me. How dare you‽
Cheese is one of the most amazing products ever created.
I think you need to buy better cheese if you wouldn’t notice it in a sandwich.
You just haven’t found your cheese yet
I agree, im not really a cheese fan. If it wasnt for pizza i wouldnt care of cheese didnt even exist
Hey man, hey buddy, hey, listen. I hear you. But no.
Mozzarella sticks suck without cheese
Props, this is a terrible opinion.
I have never disagreed more with a post on here. Have the upvote.
Yeah no. I recently got a cheeseburger with no cheese, twice. I’ve never been so hangry.
I can’t abide a world without cheeseburgers
coincidentally eating cheese rn 🧍♀️
I’m lactose intolerant and still refuse to make a sandwich without cheese. Turkey or ham? Swiss or American. Roast beef? Provolone or Swiss. Not having cheese on a sandwich (and especially on burgers) is as noticeable as not having any meat. It’s as bland as water.
No…you’re just wrong both in opinion and facts, let me explain some history on Cheese.
Cheese is a critical source of concentrated, shelf stable nutrition, especially protein and calcium and has historically allowed people to survive in times and places where fresh food (particularly milk) wasn’t available.
Without cheese, vast populations in pre-modern societies would’ve struggled to preserve vital nutrients from milk. This would have meant greater malnutrition, especially in agrarian or nomadic cultures, and less food security overall. Cheese helped humans extend the life of perishable resources, enabling survival through harsh winters, droughts, and long journeys.
In conclusion cheese saved and made civilization more resilient and without it, human development would have been slower and more fragile.
Which completely dismantles your idea that it’s not important when it’s literally been a main source of survival for humanity and that’s a fact. Good day sir 😤
Come visit Wisconsin and see if you still feel this wat after
With that logic, why would bread be important? It’s just calories/carbs. Or salami, veggies. We could go without them and eat cheese
Wrong and rightfully unpopular. Have to respect OPs courage though.
It’s the main filling in 99% of the sandwiches I eat 😂
I would rather eat a solely cheese sandwich than a sandwich without cheese. Some of the exceptions are egg salad, tuna salad, chicken salad.
You know why I don’t really like the Filet O Fish or a Big Mac? Not enough cheese! (Yea they’re not sandwiches per say, but examples none the less)
< France, Switzerland, Italy and Spain didn’t like that >
