I’m currently watching the show Ransom Canyon on Netflix. If anyone asks, I’ll say that I’m watching it because Minka Kelly is still so fucking hot after all these years. But mostly, I’m watching it for the stories.

If you ever get into reality TV – it’s pretty fun and might be on par with what you like. Bravo TV is good for this and the drama on their shows are fun to chat about. I feel so bad for straight men sometimes…. Feeling the need to hide a show so you seem masculine is actually the least masculine thing possible.

My 67 year old grandfather who spends most of his time outside, working out, drinking with his buddies, as masculine as you can think of how a man should be, snuggles up in his lazy boy at the end of the day, watching hallmark Christmas movies all year, and cheesy rom coms by himself! Only family knows about it because of the same reason you have, he doesn’t want to be teased by friends

I used to not like chick shows. I then watched Emily of Paris and thought it was great. All my other tv is the boys, it’s always sunny, ozark, peaky blinders, etc. Movies is mostly action, bro comedy, or war drama.
Most of the chick flicks I can’t watch because they’re all the same. Chick gets dumped, finds herself, meets new guy, happily ever after. Or, girl meets guy, they don’t like each and are pit in situations where they see each other more often. They banter and eventually flirt a little, then catch feelings, then “omg, no! What am I even doing?!?” Then leaving, the other person chasing and happily ever after. Like a Jason Statham movie – one story, interchangeable character names, same ending every time.
