Concert tickets should be sold in-person ONLY

r/

Tired of shows I want to see selling out in seconds and then seeing listings on stubhub, seatgeek, vivid seats, etc for 3-5X the original price. As inconvenient as it would be, if you were required to go in-person to purchase a paper ticket and they simply did not sell tickets online at all you would only have people who really want to go attending. It would take longer for a show to sell out but for high demand shows they still would, just maybe in days or weeks not seconds.

More extreme is they print your ID on the ticket at time of purchase and it must match the ID of the attendee at the time of entry on show date.
