My theory is just that. The tooth fairy is the grim reaper.
It takes the childhood bones. Then takes teeth again after years. Leaving one with no teeth. What other bones are there to take? The skeleton.
Think about it! By the time the teeth have gone the skeleton remains, it isn’t in good condition, so it takes a full payment.
The first set is a deposit. Adult set is main payment. The skeleton is the interest.
Someone poke holes in this because I’m now spiraling and I’m just seeing the Grim reaper as a dark fairy that trades life for bones. A bone shark.
